We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer in the Hotels team. The team is developing a component that is important for the company’s entire business - the Hotel Card - a high-load service with organic user traffic.
Job Responsibilities
develop high-performance, scalable systems and backend services, with a margin of safety for future changes;
design the architecture of new backend systems and develop existing ones. Define and implement storage solutions optimized for performance and scalability;
optimize applications due to organic growth in traffic and the amount of data stored. Research new technologies, frameworks, and tools, and evaluate their applicability to our system;
understand key business objectives, and work collaboratively with product managers and stakeholders. Participate in planning, prioritization, and meet deadlines for the implementation of tasks and projects.
Key Qualifications
overall commercial development experience of 5 years or more;
at least 3 years of experience working with PostgreSQL 9+ (+PostGIS), optimizing queries and resource consumption;
3 years of development experience in Python 3.x;
experience with Django;
good understanding of SOLID principles and application of them in practice.
