Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Pricing)

Job Responsibilities

Dynamic Pricing Algorithm Development and Refinement: Continuously develop and enhance algorithms to optimize dynamic pricing, ensuring alignment with market demands and company objectives. Our current solution uses Uplift modeling as the main approach. Your goal would be to make sure it continues to generate profit while simultaneously searching for new ideas to improve it.
Strategic Collaboration Across Teams:
- With Business Analysts: Work closely with business analysts from pricing and marketing teams to ensure the implemented solutions drive desired outcomes.
- With the Marketing Team: Engage with marketing to leverage promotions as data-driven opportunities;
- With Core Engineering: Collaborate with the core engineering team to integrate pricing solutions seamlessly into the company's technical infrastructure, ensuring robust and scalable deployment.
Monitoring System Development: Design and maintain monitoring systems to oversee the dynamic pricing pipeline. This includes creating anomaly detection systems to identify and rectify discrepancies within a complex system that integrates both machine learning models and business rules.
Long-term Strategy Maintenance and Advancement: Initially ensure the existing pricing strategies are effectively maintained and contribute to the company's revenue goals. Gradually, take on more innovative projects to advance our pricing strategies in both B2B and B2C sectors.

Key Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in Data Science.
Experience with one of this - dynamic pricing systems (ctr, uplift) or any kinds of promo that affects prices (promo, promo codes, loyalty programs, etc).
Strong knowledge of Python and SQL.
Experience with classical ML algorithms and a good understanding of Deep Learning.
Understanding of the machine learning model cycle.
Ability to own projects, work alone as well as in small groups towards the common list of goals.
B2 English level.
