Data Quality Engineer / Data QA

We are looking for a Data Quality Engineer to join our Data Infrastructure team.

The Data Infrastructure team is responsible for the collection, storage, and quality of all company data, as well as the development and support of analytical services and tools.

In this position, you will have an opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks related to Data Quality, e.g data testing, testing of data marts deployment, and monitoring. You will also have the opportunity to bring your own ideas to the team, as our Data Quality direction is currently being modernized.

Job Responsibilities

Conducting data quality audits;
Creating tests for data marts in a data warehouse;
Automating data quality checks;
Developing project documentation: incidents, processes, check descriptions, etc.;
Advising data owners and clients on issues related to coverage with checks and tests of their data marts.

Key Qualifications

SQL: Advanced;
Python: Intermediate (knowledge of pandas, requests, SQL Alchemy);
Familiar with or has worked with Soda, Great Expectation, Apache Deequ;
Familiar with or has worked with profiling tools, for example, Pandas Profiling;
Proficient in at least one visualization tool: Power BI, Tableau, Grafana;
Experience with Excel/Google spreadsheets;
Understanding of data quality metrics.

Will be a plus:

Experience with Vertica, VerticaPy;
Experience with Olap Cube;
Experience with Airflow, Docker, Gitlab CI/CD.
