RateHawk to expand its commercial team in the UK and to accelerate its growth

RateHawk.com, an online system for booking hotels, air tickets and transfers for travel professionals, announces the expansion of its UK team: RateHawk has recruited Adam Weatherby and John Docherty, who join as Sales Managers for UK and Ireland.

Adam Weatherby has over 19 years of experience in tourism as a business development and trade relations manager for destinations, hotels and tour operators and other leading companies in the tourism sector, among which are South African Tourism, Visit Britain, Major Travel and Barcelo Hotels. In his new role for RateHawk, Weatherby will continue to strengthen the company’s position in the London and South region.

John Docherty joins with a wealth of experience gained during his 30 years in the travel industry, with a proven record in delivering sales and having built strong relationships in his previous roles which include Princess Cruise and G Touring. Having spent the last 10 years in business development roles across various sectors in the market, Docherty will be responsible for new business in the North, Scotland and Northern Ireland at RateHawk.

The total number of RateHawk’s partners has exceeded 34,000 partners in 120 countries. RateHawk officially launched in the United Kingdom in 2018. The platform provides its clients with 1.8 million accommodation options worldwide. In 2021 RateHawk launched its air ticket offering, providing tickets from over 350 airlines. The platform also provides transfer routes in over 150 countries. RateHawk has a mobile app available to partners using iOS or Android devices. The number of downloads exceeded 28,000.
